How it all started
Design Evolutions Inc., GA was established in 1999 as a service provider of house plans and custom designs for home builders and private clients. In the years that followed, the company had slowly accumulated a considerable amount of house designs which have been curated into the current house plan collections presented on our website. In an effort to expand and grow the business, Design Evolutions Inc., GA began selling these stock house plans in print magazine and online in 2000 as a viable option to our residential design services. To this day, our online presence has fostered sales of our house plans to customers all across the continental United States and Canada. We continue to grow our portfolio with new house plans every year to provide you with outstanding home design selections to choose from.
Company Founder
Kirya J. Duncan is the Principal Building Designer and founder of Design Evolutions Inc., GA. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he studied Architectural Engineering. Kirya is a native of Natchez, Mississippi.
Beginning his career as a professional building designer in 1995, Kirya worked at two leading residential design companies over the course of four years. During his tenure at these companies, he managed the production of house plans for home builders and custom home plans for clients that included professional sports athletes, music entertainers, and fortune 500 company executives. It was during these early years that Kirya hone his skills and embarked on a path that inspired the creation of Design Evolutions Inc., GA.
Kirya is a formal Army reservist and a past member of the American Institute of Building Design. When he is not working on floor plans and developing new house designs, he is actively involved in his local community. He is an avid basketball fan and a high school freshman basketball coach. In addition, he train kids from elementary school, middle school, and high school in the sport of basketball. Kirya is also a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity incorporated.
