Description Inspired by "The Burn" original home, Natchez, MS - circa 1834 Exclusively at DesignEvolutions.com Greek revival in its architecture, this one and a half story historic house plan has all the charm of the home it replicates. Although it is a fraction of the square footage offered in the original Burn, this home design is cleverly scaled down to just under 3,200 sq ft. The main floor includes the living areas for the entire family. Spaces include a large goumet kitchen with a center island that open onto the breakfast room and family room. A formal dining room is located on the front of the home as well as a study that can opt for a guest bedroom with access to a full bath. The foyer has a unique u-shaped staircase that is of the same design in the original Burn house. The second floor includes a master bedroom with two additional secondary bedrooms. The gable roof above the front porch has enough space beneath it to house a raised loft that is ideal for a reading or sitting area. Similar designs: none |
