House Plan Modifications

We can help you modify our home plans. A non-refundable $25.00 fee is required to receive a bid for all modification requests. This fee cover the expense of the designer’s time to review your modification request and prepare a bid. The fee will be applied to the total cost of the stock house plan modifications upon acceptance of the bid. To create a bid for performing your modifications, you would need to tell us in detail what you want changed. That way we can provide you with the most accurate quote. Below is an explanation of the process.

The modification process

Contact us via email with your modification request list. Include your first and last name, phone number, email address, and the plan name and number along with your modifications list for the design you are interested in. If you would also like to email a copy of the home plans with your mark ups and written changes let us know and we will forward you our email address to send your attachments.

NOTE: You will receive an invoice via paypal to collect your bid fee. Payment of this invoice must be received before your bid request can begin.

You will receive a written bid from Design Evolutions for the modifications you specified in writing within 1-2 business days. The bid is valid for 30 days. Upon acceptance of the bid, you must then purchase the house plan package and pay 50% of the modification fee to begin your project. The $25.00 fee will be credited towards your balance.

Once the initial house plan modifications are made, you will receive a preliminary of the changes to approve. Any additional changes not included in the original bid will result in additional fees and time. This will be addressed in the bid you will receive. Upon approval, the construction documents will be adjusted to the modifications and the plans will be finalized. Once final payment is made your modified house plans will be shipped to you.
