The Brook house plan is a modest two story home design with subtle french country charm. The 54 foot by 34 foot rectangular footprint make it economical to build, yet it has a lot of room. It’s a great home for the first time home buyer or for homeowners with a growing family looking to increase living space.
The first floor of the Brook House Plan
The main floor plan has a large foyer which is unusual in a home of this size. Another unique feature in the home is the coat room at the foyer. This room has a bench wall and a cubbie wall to store shoes and coats of family and guest. From the foyer there is access to the dining room, family room, second floor and garage. The family room is open to the kitchen which has a seven foot long island with seating for three. To the right of the kitchen is the dining room space which can be a formal or informal space. A bedroom is tucked behind the garage with access from the family room and it has access to a hall bathroom for overnight guest.
The second floor of the Brook House Plan
The master bedroom is located on the second floor of this home. This make the house plan ideal for families with small children because there are two additional bedrooms that share a jack-n-jill bathroom layout. If you need to get a little work done there is a home office on this floor as well which is located next to the laundry room. This plan also features an unfinished bonus room above the garage. The space can be use for many things including a kids playroom, hobby room, home theater, upstairs den, or whatever you desire.
