Description
Designed with a rectangular footprint, the Macy house plan is a home builder inspired design with maximum square footage usage. It is a Modern traditional home design with great appeal.
The first floor of the Macy house plan
The first floor plan is a very open concept design that is attractive to many potential homeowners. It includes a formal living and formal dining room that has a three window bay. The kitchen flows into the breakfast and two story family room that can easily convert to a single story room, making a new livable game room or entertainment space above on the second floor. Also included on the main floor is a sunroom with the option of converting the space to a guest bedroom and making the powder room a full bath for overnight guest.
The second floor design
The second floor consist of four bedrooms. The master bedroom suite includes a sizable master bathroom coupled with his and hers walk-in closets. Three additional secondary bedrooms share a second bath. The laundry room is also located on this floor for easy access to dirty cloths.
Altogether, the Macy can have up to five bedrooms when the sunroom is converted into another sleeping quarter.
