Description
A breathing-taking interpretation of the Mountain home style is evident in the Mansart house plan design. Rich in material selection, it combines the use of stone, brick, and timber accents. Together with copper roofing, they stimulate visual interest in the overall design. The floor plans of this design is similar to our Wedale home plan design.
The first floor of the Mansart house plan
Upon entering the foyer, you see a semi-circled staircase. Positioned in a unique design, the stairs disappears as it ascends to the second floor. The grand room is just off the foyer with views to the rear of the home. The master bedroom is located on the left wing of the home. It has a sitting room with a 3-sided fireplace not to mention its own private deck. In addition to those features is a wet bar in the master suite. A luxury bathroom as access to his and hers master closets.
To the right of the foyer and grand room is a dining room with a bay wall. Beyond that space is the kitchen, which opens up to a breakfast room and family/ keeping room overlooking a veranda.
The second floor design
In addition to a staircase, access to the second floor is also available via an elevator. On the second floor there are three bedroom 2 baths and a loft overlooking the grand room. The Mansart house plan also includes an elevator. On the whole, this is a solid home design.
