The first floor of the Ponderosa house plan
Be swept away by the circular staircase as you enter the foyer of the Ponderosa house plan design. Just off the foyer is an octagonal shaped study. The master bedroom is located on the first floor. It has a six-sided bay sitting area, a luxury bath and huge closet. Entertain guest in the two story living room as you await dinner in the coffer ceiling dining room. For family day to day activities, there is plenty of space in the gourmet kitchen to prepare meals. Moreover, this area overlook the diameter shaped breakfast room defined by six floor to ceiling columns. In addition to that view, the vaulted family room with exposed beams adds more interest to the open space.
The second floor design
On the second floor, the foyer is decorated with a dome ceiling to add volume in the two story space. Three additional bedrooms are located on this floor. Each of these bedrooms have their own private bathrooms in addition to generous size closets. The remaining livable space is located above the garage in the bonus room.
