The Abby house plan design
This French house plan is a modest home that measures 66 feet wide and roughly 70 feet deep with the covered back porch. A split bedroom design concept make if a flexible plan for a young family or couple looking to downsize. The appealing thing about this home is the dedicated office space just off the foyer. For a young family with small kids, this can be the perfect flex for a play room. The kids can have a place to play with and store their toys.
The sleeping areas are split in this 3 bedroom house plan giving the homeowner a degree of privacy from the secondary bedrooms. In addition to the office, the right side of the house is devoted to the master suite. The suite includes a sitting room, a full bathroom with a separate tub and shower, and two walk-in closets. There is also a coat closet for guest in the hallway leading to the master suite.
The dining room, kitchen, and family room are one big free-flowing space which will allow family members to be in each other’s presence no matter if they are cooking, eating, or watching television. A ten foot kitchen island has plenty of cabinet storage and seating for up to five. A walk-in pantry provides plenty of space to store food and miscellaneous appliance when not in use. Next to the pantry is a laundry room that leads to the side-load two car garage. On the opposite side of the kitchen is a small hall that leads to a powder room and the back covered porch. Behind the kitchen is a hallway that gives access to the two secondary bedrooms which has a Jack-n-Jill bathroom design.
