The Abigail house plan design

As mentioned, the Abigail is a  French house plan style design. The overall footprint of the home measures around sixty-six feet wide and approximately seventy feet deep. It is a larger version of our Abby house plan design which is a 3 bedroom house plan design. The Abigail includes an additional bedroom, making this design a four bedroom house plan option.

The sleeping areas are divided on this house floor plan. The three secondary bedrooms are away from the master suite, giving the homeowner plenty of privacy from the kids or guest. A split bedroom design concept make it a flexible plan for a growing family or the retired couple who desire a dedicated fourth bedroom. There is an office space just off the foyer which can also serve as a study, library, music room, or a kids playroom. This space is the perfect flex room to use however you like.

The master bedroom suite includes a sitting room and a full bathroom. The bath room features a separate tub and shower. For the lady of the house, there is a huge walk-in closet at the back of the bathroom just for her. The man of the house also has a function walk-in closet as well at the front of the master bath. A hall leading to the master bedroom has a coat closet for guest.

Family members can be in each other’s presence while doing different task because of the open concept design that merge the dining room, kitchen, and family room into one big free-flowing space. A ten foot kitchen island has plenty of cabinet storage and seating for up to five. A walk-in pantry provides plenty of space to store food and miscellaneous appliance when not in use. Next to the pantry is a laundry room that leads to the side-load two car garage. On the opposite side of the kitchen is a small hall that leads to a powder room and the back covered porch. Behind the kitchen is a hallway that gives access to the three secondary bedrooms which all share a hall bathroom.
