Description
The Claymore house plan is literally a box with a garage offset. At forty-four feet wide and fifty-two feet deep (including a 10′-0″ deep rear covered porch), it fits on just about any size lot for the most part.
The Claymore house plan first floor
At the front of this traditional home design is a study. However, it can be an office space with built-ins to organize books or home office equipment. The study has access to the family room with its own built-in cabinets and corner fireplace. The family area is open and flows into the breakfast area. The kitchen, which is open to the breakfast and family, has an island with seating to eat snacks or meals. This floor is complete with a powder room, a laundry room, and a two car garage. The covered patio on the rear provides additionally space to enjoy outdoor activities.
Second floor rooms
There are four bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The Master suite occupy the right side with its own bathroom featuring a separate tub and shower. In addition, the owners suite has his and hers walk-in closets. On the left side of this floor are the additional three bedrooms. Each room has a large closet and they all share a hall bathroom. On the whole, the Claymore is a great home design.
