The Oakland house plan is a cute and simple bungalow house plan design. This narrow lot home plan design is just forty feet wide, but it has plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy. It is perfect to use as an infill home in established historic neighborhoods. The Oakley is a one and a half story house plan with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 1 half bath.

Oakland house plan first floor

The front of the bungalow style home has a covered porch that stretches the entire width of the house. That makes the porch a perfect place to relax during the spring, summer, and fall months. The first floor of the Oakland is an open design that is airy and free flowing. Entering the home you land in a large family room, which seamlessly flows into the dining room and kitchen. It features an electric fireplace that serves as the focal point of the space. The kitchen is located at the back of the home and features an island with seating for 3 people.

The master bedroom is located on the first floor and is positioned behind the family room. It includes a private master bedroom with separate tub and shower plus a large walk-in closet. Adjacent to the kitchen and behind the master suite is a walk-in pantry, powder room, and laundry room.

Oakland second floor plan

A staircase leading to the second floor is just off the kitchen. On this floor there are three secondary bedrooms. Bedroom two has a walk-in closet and a private bathroom. Bedroom three also has a walk-in closet, but it shares access to a hall bathroom with bedroom four. In bedroom four there are multiple accesses to the attic space.

The Oakland is a slightly larger version of our Oakley house plan which is only 1960 sq ft.
