Description
Our Shannon house plan embraces the cottage Tudor architectural styling. It is only thirty six feet wide, but it has enough depth to provide a generous floor plan layout for any family. A good use of this design would be to build it in a historic urban community as in infill home. However, it would fair just as well in newly developed suburb neighborhood too! This home is suited for narrow lot house designs and has two floors of living space with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Shannon house plan first floor
The main floor of the Shannon home is designed to maximize the use of every single square foot of living space. It includes a formal dining room just behind the foyer of the main entrance. The family room has a shallow coffer ceiling and flows freely into the spacious kitchen. A large island serves as both a work space and a place to eat typical daily meals. Access to the back patio is a few steps away from the family/ kitchen area. Just beyond the living areas is a guest bedroom which can also serve as a office. The room has a private access to a full bath which is also accessible from the hallway for others to use.
Shannon second floor plan
Stairs behind the garage lead to the sleeping areas of the second floor. The master suite has a vaulted ceiling, adding interest and openness to the room. A large walk-in closet is big enough for two people to share comfortably. The master bath has a double vanity, private water closet, a separate tub, and shower to complete the space.
Two additional bedrooms fill out the second floor. Each room has its own access to a shared bathroom. The common space of entrance has a double vanity, while the toilet and tub occupy a private room just beyond the vanity.
The home plan is similar to our Pheasant house plan.
