The first floor of the Cherokee house plan
This one and a half story Greek Revival home plan is scaled down from the original house, but still has the warmth and appearance of understated luxury. Rooms aren’t many but room sizes are generous. The Cherokee house plan first floor consist of a huge family room at the rear of the home that opens to the breakfast room and kitchen. In addition, a sun room also connects with the kitchen and family area making this designer house plan idea for large family gatherings in a comfortable atmosphere. At the front of the house you will find a spacious study with a coffer ceiling and a dining room flanking the foyer on either side. These rooms also offer their own private entry to the covered front porch situated in the middle of the two rooms.
The second floor design
The second floor tucked under the roof has the sleeping quarters for the whole family. The master bedroom with its private bath and large walk-in closet covers the right side of the plan. Two additional bedrooms, both with private baths of their own, occupy the left side of the upper floor. At just under 3,400 square feet, the Cherokee house plan has enough space to breath and is still a cozy home to enjoy.
